Evergreen Golf Club

Outdoor Tournament and League Golf

Evergreen Golf Club (EGC) provides members a fun and competitive series of outdoor golf tournaments and leagues.  We operate weekend 18 hole tournaments, an all-spring & summer Thursday evening 9-hole League, and have an annual individual and team match play event.

Evergreen Golf Club was founded in 2021, and is led by the same team that formerly ran Willows Men’s Club.  We have created what we hope will be a bigger and better Club, one that incorporates the best of the old while adding lots of new events, along with some new twists, all coming with a new name.

We are extending you this invitation to join Evergreen Golf Club. EGC is based in the Redmond/ Kirkland/ Bellevue area but play tournaments all around Western Washington.

How do I join Evergreen Golf Club?

You will need to be a member of EGC to participate in our events on a regular basis.  We will also have limited guest opportunities for new members. The easiest and best way to join is to purchase a Full membership online through the WaGolf site:

Click Here to Join Now for full membership including GHIN

  • You can also go directly to the https://WaGolf.org site, and click on “Join or Renew” in the menu bar.
  • Please be sure to use your existing GHIN number to sign up.
  • Once completed your GHIN will be activated immediately (no waiting for approval).

If you already have an active GHIN membership:

Click Here to join EGC with an existing GHIN at a discounted rate

How much does it cost?  Full membership is $85 which includes $39 for GHIN.  Sign up today so you will get our future email announcements!  If you already have a GHIN membership elsewhere, see below.

Do I still need to purchase a Willows Run Membership Card/Senior Card?  No. Willows Run membership card is not required for Evergreen Golf Club membership.  We no longer have a direct relationship with the Willows Run Golf Course. We do not receive any subsidy for tournament payouts from the Willows Run Membership Card payments.  As such, the decision to purchase a Willows Run card should be based on how often you will play at Willows outside of Weekend fixed-price EGC events (e.g. if you participate in Thursday League or Match play,) and what other benefits it may offer.  The Willows Run membership card is not required for Evergreen Golf Club membership.

What if I already have a GHIN from another course or club, or have purchased a GHIN from Willows Run?  If you have already renewed your GHIN elsewhere, you can join EGC by paying the club membership fee directly to the club. Please Click Here to join EGC with an existing GHIN at a discounted rate if you fall into this membership category so we can follow up with you on your membership.

Note: If you purchase a full EGC membership along with another WaGolf GHIN, you can receive a $10 rebate directly from WaGolf (scroll down on the page and fill out the form) for each duplicate GHIN membership.

Event Payouts: Event payouts will be in the form of store credit at all western Washington Pro Golf Discount stores. This will provide a significantly greater selection than in the past - shoes, clubs, carts, clothes, grips, accessories, lessons – whatever they sell, your credit can be applied to it.

FAQ

Why did you change the name from Willows Run Men’s Club to Evergreen Golf Club?

A: Willows Run Ownership is no longer sponsoring or directly involved in operating a Men’s or Women’s Club for regular league or tournament play.  Starting in 2022, Willows Run required that all clubs and leagues must be independent from Willows Run Golf Course.

Why should I register for GHIN through EGC rather than another club?

A:

  1. If you are planning to play a lot of events with EGC, it’s much easier for the tournament directors to manage the roster and handicaps when you are in our GHIN roster system.
  2. GHIN Activation is immediate – as soon as you register and pay with WaGolf, your GHIN is activated.  No waiting several days for someone at a local pro shop to manually activate your account.
  3. If you need to have any score you posted adjusted (if it is double posted, or posted incorrectly), you can contact the EGC board and we can make the change directly.  If your GHIN is purchased through Willows Run or another course, you will need to contact the Pro Shop and have them make the changes for you.  If you are with a third party GHIN, you will need to contact that organization for handicap corrections.

How do I Sign In to this web site? The red text says members should Sign In?

A: If you have not previously had a Golf Genius account, you will receive a Golf Genius registration link via email once we activate you in our events.  Sign in to Golf Genius to create an account.

I didn’t know about the change in the Willows Men’s Club operations and have already purchased my GHIN membership through Willows Run.

A: We can enroll you as a member with an "existing active GHIN".  Just send us an email and let us know you want to join EGC.  We will add you to the roster and bill you the club membership fee minus the GHIN fee.  We would appreciate if you'd consider joining us directly next year.

Can i get a refund if I have registered for two (or more) GHIN clubs?

A: Yes, you can get a rebate of $10 for each additional GHIN membership through WA Golf. To get the $10 rebate directly from WaGolf, click this link and scroll down to the bottom of the page, and fill out the form for each duplicate GHIN membership.

How can I learn more about the new EGC and the events?

A: This website has a lot of information in the "Home," "Weekend Tournaments," "Thursday League," and "Match Play" sections (in the navigation at the top of the site).  If you have additional questions, please email us.

Willows Run Golf Course is still selling GHIN memberships as Willows Men's Club.  Doesn't that mean Willows Men's Club still exists?  What's the difference between EGC and Willows?

  • Willows Run Pro Shop will continue to offer GHIN Handicap Service for individuals using the existing GHIN name Willows Men's Club but at this time (as far as we know) there are no plans for weekly or any other regular competitions.
  • Evergreen Golf Club will be running the Thursday 9-Hole league at Willows Run, Match Play tournaments, and a slate of Weekend Events. EGC membership includes GHIN Handicap Service under Evergreen Golf Club.

How can I reach you?

A: Please email us at  EvergreenGC@outlook.com
